The current stable version of Trelby is quite old and it is not actively developed. As far as software for writing screen plays go it is a niche piece of software but most budding screen writers are on a very tight budget and programs such as these can burn a huge hole in your pocket making Trelby a wonderful alternative option. Blyte was renamed to Trelby, and several new features were added. The ‘academic’ version has two activation options per purchase, costing 99.95. Fullscreen mode Trelby features a no-distraction fullscreen writing mode. All of these have three activation options per purchase. We recommend the Courier font linked on the download page.
